Music Production for Women (MPW) have announced an upcoming series of free beginner music production masterclasses that will be taking place in four cities across the US. EmpowHer Sound - Live will see the organisation host events in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville and Santa Cruz with the aim of empowering female and non-gender conforming musicians.
The tour has been organised following a hugely successful event hosted in the UK in 2023, which attracted over 200 artists. The events will be hosted by The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, AB Hillsboro Village and UCSC, and will feature sessions from MPW’s award-winning founder and CEO, Xylo Aria on topics such as beatmaking, audio effects and synthesis.
