PreSonus have launched the Eris E5 BT, the latest addition to their family of Media Reference Monitors. Equipped with 50 watts of Class D power per speaker, they are the most powerful models in the range. Featuring a 5.25-inch woven-glass composite woofer and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, PreSonus say the Eris E5 BTs deliver the same quality as their award-winning Eris studio monitors.
A combination of balanced quarter-inch TRS inputs, unbalanced RCA inputs and a stereo Bluetooth 5.0 input make it easy to connect a range of sources such as audio interfaces, gaming systems, computers, or Bluetooth capable devices and media players. In addition to these options, there are also front-mounted headphone outputs, and an eighth-inch stereo Aux in to provide an input to devices without Bluetooth capability.
There are High and Low Acoustic Tuning controls to enable users to adjust the speakers response to suit the listening environment, and the Eris E5 BT is also the first model in the family to feature a quarter-inch TRS Sub-Out connection, allowing easy integration with a subwoofer such as the Eris Sub8.
“Our Eris E3.5 and E4.5 Bluetooth studio monitors have seen tremendous global success, and we continue to focus on pushing the boundaries of innovation,” said Jim Boitnott, EVP of PreSonus Products. “After immense customer demand for a 5.25-inch version, we’ve created the Eris E5 BT, which offers a truly premium experience and deeper low frequency response while still retaining the compact footprint today's content creators need.”
The Eris E5 BT is available now, priced at £209 including VAT, per pair.
