Acustica Audio have just released a free version of their ambitious headphone correction and control-room simulation software, Sienna. Sienna Free includes all of the headphone correction models of the full version (the list comprises 180 studio headphones models!), plus a single virtual control room.
The so-called 'HOG SUN218 Sub' room profile is a model — made using Acustica's proprietary 'dynamic convolution' technology — of the control room at House Of Glass Studio in Viareggio, Italy, using a pair of Amphion Two18 monitors and an Amphion FlexBase 25 subwoofer.
We covered the full version of Sienna back in June and were mightily impressed (click here to read our in-depth review), so this new free version should prove very popular indeed. You'll have to hurry though, as Acustica are only making it available until 1st October 2021. Acustica Free comes in VST, AU and AAX versions for both Windows and OS X, and can be claimed via the URL below.
