Softube release Transient Shaper

Dual-band transient tool available now

Softube today released Transient Shaper — the dual band transient tool.

Transient Shaper was announced and demonstrated at the recent NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. With its dual band operation, Transient Shaper goes beyond what one might expect from a transient tool. The dual band feature allows the user to set the Transient Shaper to affect only the treble or bass portion of a sound — separately for the Sustain and Punch parameters — and leave the rest untouched. According to Softube, this opens up a new realm of possibilities.

Transient Shaper is priced at $99 on Softube's own web store, with a list price through authorized Softube dealers of $89. A fully functional 20 day demonstration license can be obtained through Softube's web site, and this requires a USB iLok dongle.

Transient Shaper is available for both Mac and PC in the VST, VST3, AAX (native and DSP) and AudioUnits formats. Both 32- and 64-bit versions are available.
