Spitfire Audio have announced the release of TUTTI, a new 3.92GB sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt, designed to provide an accessible way for composers of all levels to create orchestral music. Offering pre-orchestrated combinations of woodwinds, strings, brass and percussion, TUTTI allows users to create dynamic compositions through what Spitfire dub a 'one finger' method.
Curated from recordings of the Spitfire Symphony Orchestra, TUTTI gives instant access to a fully orchestrated sound, allowing users to focus on musical ideas without the complexities of arranging individual instruments.
Paul Thomson, Spitfire Audio co-founder: It’s as simple as loading a patch and playing. You get the sound of pre-orchestrated ensembles instantly.
Users can adjust the dynamics and blend instruments by simply manipulating the mod wheel on their MIDI controller. This intuitive design allows anyone, from beginners to experienced composers, to experiment with orchestral textures and arrangements with minimal setup. The recordings were captured at Lyndhurst Hall, AIR Studios in London, ensuring top-quality sound and authentic orchestral performance.
TUTTI’s full orchestra patch includes shorts and longs for expressive control, playable articulation for staccato and long notes without keyswitching and legato instrument combinations for added realism. Users can also tailor the sound with three microphone positions — Close, Tree and Ambient — to fine-tune the overall mix.
Orchestrated by Andy Blaney, the library has been meticulously shaped to provide instant access to the grandeur of a full orchestra. Drawing from the same recording sessions used in the spectacular Spitfire Symphony Orchestra libraries, TUTTI allows users to recreate the iconic sounds heard in top concert halls and scoring stages.
