Stedman release pop filter adaptor for boom arms

AD-1 is designed to fit square-tubed microphone stands

Stedman AD-1

Stedman USA have been making handy studio knick-knacks and accessories for years, and their latest addresses the recent boom in podcast production. No streamer's studio is complete without a radio-style anglepoise microphone boom arm, but they can be a faff to attach a pop filter to. No more though, thanks to Stedman's super-affordable new AD-1 Clamp Adaptor, which is designed to clamp onto square-tubed mic stands, and has an attachment compatible with the company's own Proscreen XL and Proscreen 101 metal-mesh pop filters.

Stedman have described the AD-1 as a 'no-brainer', and at its pocket-change price of $5.99, they may well be right. Their pop filters aren't bad either, as we discovered in our April 2006 review.
