Techivation have announced the launch of T-Compressor M, a limited edition version of their T-Compressor plug-in which is equipped with a selection of additional controls. 5000 licences are available, and the plug-in will only be sold until the end of December 2022.
T-Compressor M provides the same set of features as the original plug-in, but with an expanded set of controls that include fully adjustable attack, release, ratio, and knee settings. A serial processing feature allows up to three instances of the compressor to be added and controlled from within a single instance of the plug-in, with users able to switch between them via buttons placed along the top of the GUI.
T-Compressor M retains the intuitive GUI design of the original plug-in, but offers an extended set of controls.The four compression modes found on the original: Clean, Crispy, Warm, and Thick, are still present, along with a gain reduction meter that can be switched between VU and GRPH (digital graph) modes. The GUI retains the same intuitive layout, with large Input and Output sliders placed either side of a central Threshold control.
Whilst the original plug-in simply offered switchable Fast and Slow settings for its Attack and Release parameters, T-Compressor M provides a fully adjustable control for each. Attack speed can be adjusted between 0 and 400 ms, whilst the Release parameter offers a range of 0.1ms to 2.5s. A Ratio control offers a range of settings between 1:1 and 30:1, and the Knee parameter provides an adjustment range of -15 to 0dB.
A Mix control is present to allow for quick and easy parallel compression, and the plug-in is also equipped with a side-chain high-pass filter which can be continually adjusted between 20 and 350 Hz. Both of these parameters can be adjusted separately for each loaded instance, providing detailed control over compression when combined with the plug-in’s serial processing function.
T-Compressor M is also equipped with the same range of useful features that can be found in all of Techivation’s plug-ins, including a built-in A/B comparison feature, undo and redo functions, GUI scaling options, and up to 4X oversampling.
Compatibility
T-Compressor M is supported on PCs running Windows 7 and above, and Macs running macOS 10.12 and above, with the plug-in natively supported on both Intel and Apple Silicon processors. VST, VST3, AU, and AAX versions are available.

T-Compressor M is available to purchase now from the Techivation Website, priced at $78. Buyers will also receive a free licence for the standard T-Compressor plug-in (worth $49). It will no longer be available after 31 December 2022.
