First jury-selected artists announced

WOMEX 24 Worldwide Music Expo

Manchester Music City have revealed the first batch of official showcase artists that will be taking part in the Worldwide Music Expo known as WOMEX 24, which will be taking place in Manchester between 23 and 27 October 2024. The five-day event is expected to attract around 2600 people from the world’s music industry, travelling from 90 different countries to take part in a conference and trade fair, with live music showcases, club nights and films taking place at iconic venues including the Albert Hall, Aviva Studios, Manchester Central, O2 Ritz and HOME.

The showcase line-up promises to entertain audiences and showcase the incredible talent of both emerging and established artists alike, and  has been shaped by an independent jury of music industry professionals from all around the world. Collaborating closely with the WOMEX showcase team, a dedicated curator will put together the Club Summit line-up, which will be announced in the upcoming weeks. A further announcement in July 2024 will reveal the artists from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales who have been selected to play on the Horizons stage.
