Other senior positions — Paul White as Editor-In-Chief, Hugh Robjohns as Technical Editor and Nick Humbert as International Business Development Manager, remain unchanged.

Ian Gilby adds: “I am pleased to be able to hand over control to the very capable and loyal team that has worked alongside me over the last 20 years, who have contributed enormously to the class-leading brand that is Sound On Sound.  As they continue to take the company forward, I relish the opportunity to step back and use this valuable time to enjoy family life more, as well as pursuing some of my other personal passions and interests such as playing guitar, writing and recording my songs, and getting to grips with my home studio's newest arrival -- a Presonus StudioLive 24 channel mixer/DAW controller.”

The new Board wishes to thank Ian for all his hard work in helping to establish Sound On Sound magazine and the soundonsound.com website as outstanding globally successful brands, and looks forward to building on that strength in the years to come.
