AIR Music Tech have released Ether, a reverb plugin that provides eight distinct space settings, pre-delay, reverb time, and damp controls. But what makes Ether unique is its post-reverb shaping capabilities, which, along with an EQ and filter section, includes five modules that each offer their own creative options.
The Pitch module gives users control over the reverb's timbre, adding shimmering textures when pitched up and weight and depth when pitched down. The Mod module is equipped with shape, depth and rate controls, and the Delay section features BPM sync, cross-feed for bouncing delay effects and a range of input routing options. The animation section provides a range of shapes that can be synced to the project's tempo, and the compressor features three input routing options with adjustable attack and release time.
Finally, the LFO/envelope section includes four modulation modes and assignable destinations with independent depth and invert controls. Each of these modulation modules can be fully bypassed.
Compatibility
Ether is available in VST, AU and AAX formats and can run on Windows or macOS, and is compatible with with Apple Silicon processors.
