Apple seminar visits Guildford on 9th November
Guildford-based pro audio dealer Andertons Music will be hosting Apple's 'Guitarist And The Mac' seminar on the 9th November at the University of Surrey's Austin Pearce Building.
The event, which starts at 7.30pm, will include presentations on Logic and Garageband by Apple demonstrator Chris Thompson, as well as Line 6 demos (from Line 6 expert Ross Bailey) and Godin Guitar displays. To top the bill, Bernard Butler (Suede, The Tears and McAlmont & Butler) will be performing on-stage.
In the comfortable surroundings of the University of Surrey's newest conference theatre, attendees will be shown how Apple's audio software, along with various third-party plug-ins, can be used to transform your guitar tracks into professional-sounding recordings. Also on the agenda will be ways of turning your guitar into a MIDI-compatible controller, and using your Mac to market and distribute your music.
