Back in September, as part of Sound On Sound’s 25th birthday celebrations, we launched the first ever annual SOS Awards, in recognition of products that have been on the market over the past year, and are deserving of this prestigious accolade. The winners are being voted for by you, our 
readers, and the nominations are split into 15 categories: Audio Interfaces, DAW Software, Effects & Processing Hardware, Plug‑in Effects, Plug‑in Processing, Hardware Controllers, Keyboards/Synths, Microphones, Mixers, Monitors, Hardware Recorders, Mic Preamps, Software Instruments, Sound Libraries and Headphones.
