If you followed the news from Frankfurt’s Musikmesse earlier this year, you can’t have failed to notice Audient’s impressive ASP2802 hybrid mixer/control surface — and neither did we at SOS, although it seems we were so busy noticing it that an altogether different announcement from Audient at the show went by uncovered.
The Black 500 Adapter allows users of Audient’s modular Black Rack system to use modules designed to work with API’s similar 500-series Lunchbox chassis. The caddy not only allows 500-series processors to fit into a Black Rack physically, but also adapts the Black Rack’s power rails to conform with API’s standards.
Available now, the Audient Black 500 Adapter is retailing for around £100 including VAT.
