Launched in January 2024, the Audient ORIA offers an all-in-one interface and monitor control solution that’s been specifically designed for working in Dolby Atmos. Now, the company have announced the launch of an iPad Remote App that provides touchscreen-based control over all of the units key functions, as well as an optional card that kits it out with Dante connectivity.
Available as a free download from Apple’s App Store, the new remote application — which was announced as an upcoming feature back when the ORIA was launched — has been designed to provide users with in-depth control over the device’s monitoring features without the need to reach for the rack unit itself. The Home screen offers a general overview of all the ORIA’s key functions, while a column of icons to the left of the GUI call up more specific tabs dedicated to features such as routing, I/O metering, speaker switching, user profiles and more.

Audient have also announced the launch of the Dante Card, an optional expansion card which adds up to 16 channels of Dante AoIP connectivity to an ORIA being used as a standalone monitor controller. As well as being an optional extra for new customers, the card can be retrofitted to existing units, with existing owners advised to organise fitting through an Audient reseller to ensure their warranty remains valid.

The new App is available now from the Apple App Store, and is free to download. The ORIA Dante card is also available to order, priced at $650£600 including VAT / €595.
