Cableguys have released a free update to their ShaperBox 3 rhythmic effects plug-in, adding a new Oscilloscope tool which has been designed to help users to visualise the dynamics of their music, and assist them in pinpointing mix issues.
The new Oscilloscope features a high-res waveform display, and can be scaled to beats and bar values, as well as audio frequencies or MIDI note pitches. An external side-chain input is present, allowing users to overlay and compare the measurements of any two tracks within a session. Other key features include vertical zooming, a Freeze function, and a 0dB clipping indicator.

Compatibility
ShaperBox 3.1 is compatible with Windows and macOS operating systems, and is available in VST2, VST3, AAX and AU formats. For Mac users, both Intel and Apple Silicon processors are supported.

ShaperBox 3.1 is available as a free update to all existing users, and can be downloaded directly from the CableGuys website. The company are currently offering the full ShaperBox 3 Bundle, which contains all of the plug-in's nine effects, for $89€89, reduced from its usual price of $99€99 (or $301€301 compared to buying each effect separately).
