Lake People have announced the release of the G103-D-4, a Dante-enabled dual stereo headphone amplifier. This new model builds on the success of the G103 amplifier (reviewed in SOS August 2022), whilst integrating Dante Ultimo 4 for four-channel digital audio input via standard ethernet, making it easy to connect within existing networks.
Equipped with a 24-bit/192kHz D/A converter, the G103-D-4 delivers high-fidelity audio with a signal-to-noise ratio of 105dB and low distortion (0.01% THD). Designed for a range of headphones, the amplifier offers adjustable gain (+6dB or +12dB) and supports both 1/4" and 3.5mm headphone jacks. Various options for powering the unit include Power over Ethernet (PoE), USB-B and USB-C, intended for the convenience of versatile and simplified setups.
