The Miloco Gear Pro Audio Showcase will return for the first time since 2019, with Miloco Studios opening the doors of its London HQ between 17:00 and 21:00 on 24 November 2022 for an evening of studio tours, gear demonstrations, and talks from a range of world-class engineers.
The event programme includes a production masterclass with Charlie Hugall (Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran, Celeste, Tom Grennan), who will be breaking down a session from one of his biggest hits and running through its production journey. An Atmos demonstration hosted by Miloco’s Simon Todkill will also take place in The Red Room, the company’s flagship studio.
Karno Audio will be present to demonstrate Sony’s new C80 microphone, which is designed to deliver the famous C800G on a budget, and Miloco will also be comparing it to the real deal. Trinnov will be showcasing their D-Mon monitor controller and room correction software on a full 7.1.4 Atmos setup, and Nova Distribution will also be demonstrating Chandler’s new RS660 compressor.
Further showcases and demos will be delivered courtesy of Audient, KMR Audio, Flare Audio, Genelec, Source Distribution, and Cranborne Audio, with more yet to be announced. Help Musicians will also be present on the night to talk about the work they do for professional musicians during their career and into retirement.
There will also be a raffle taking place with some great prizes up for grabs, and all attendees will receive some free digital content courtesy of DrumDrops. Free food, wine, and craft beer will also be available throughout the event.
