Muse Research have announced significant revisions to their Receptor 2 range of hardware plug-in hosts, now called Receptor 2 Plus. The standard Receptor 2 Plus, for example, has had its hard-drive capacity more than doubled, from 320GB to 750GB, while the Receptor 2 Pro Plus ups this storage capacity even further, to 1TB. It also has an upgraded processor speed of 3GHz.
The company’s top-of-the-range model, the Receptor 2 Pro Max Plus, now benefits from an even faster processor (3.3GHz), and a whopping 1.5TB of storage space.
Happily, while all of these models have received significant performance enhancements, their prices remain unchanged: in the US, they’re set to sell for $1699, $2599 and $3199, for the Receptor 2 Plus, 2 Pro Plus, and 2 Pro Max Plus, respectively.
