Muse Research are best known for an innovative product: the Receptor. In simple terms it is a rackmount device for running plug-ins, allowing the user to host all of their instruments aboard a single module, running separately from the DAW. Recent versions can be optionally upgrade with a solid-state hard rive and a 3GHz Dual Core processor.
