Synchro Arts may be best known for their alignment tools, but their vocal-processing range also includes a powerful pitch-correction plug-in, and it’s just been treated to a significant upgrade.
RePitch 2 delivers a ground-up rebuild of the processor which Synchro Arts say continues to represent their commitment to innovation in vocal tuning. Along with a visual overhaul, the new version of the plug-in introduces multitrack editing capabilities, meaning that users are able to work across multiple vocal tracks from within a single instance of RePitch.
It also comes equipped with a new SmartAttack function, a new transient-detection feature that the company say ‘understands’ the rhythm and phrasing of a vocal performance. It works by identifying where timing adjustments can enhance precision in relation to the grid, all while preserving the natural groove and expressive nuances of the vocal, and promises to deliver tuning that feels more musical, responsive and true to the original performance.

RePitch 2 is supported on PCs running Windows 10 and above, and Macs running macOS 10.14 or higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
