Synchro Arts announce RePitch Elements

Simplified version of popular pitch-correction plug-in

Synchro Arts RePitch Elements pitch-correction plug-in vocal tuning software

Synchro Arts have released RePitch Elements, a new plug-in which offers many of the benefits of their RePitch pitch-correction software, but with a reduced set of tools and a lower price.

As with the Standard edition, Elements utilises the company’s advanced musical note detection technology, which is said to deliver perfectly tuned vocals without sounding processed or artificial. Automatic correction can be applied within seconds, whilst more detailed editing can then be carried out using a range of manual tools capable of manipulating pitch, vibrato and more.

Once a vocal track has been loaded, the plug-in analyses the signal and suggests the most likely scale, speeding up the process of tuning the part by allowing users to snap notes to the detected scale. It is also possible to set a scale manually using a drop-down menu, if required. A range of macro controls are also included, allowing a number of common tasks to be carried out quickly with just a single click.

Helpfully, RePitch Elements’ GUI is fully resizable, allowing to occupy as much or as little screen space as required, and when reduced down to smaller sizes the plug-in will display just the key controls needed for operation.

To find out more about RePitch, take a look at our review from the February 2023 issue (print / web / app / replica / PDF editions).

RePitch Elements is supported on PCs running Windows 10, and Macs running macOS 10.11.6 and above. VST, AU and AAX versions are available, and the plug-in also offers ARA2 integration with compatible DAWs. Authorisation is via iLok, although no physical dongle is required, and every licence comes with two activations that can be used simultaneously.

Pricing & Availability

RePitch Elements is available now, and is being offered for an introductory price of $69£51 excluding VAT until 15 May 2023, after which it will be priced at $99£73 excluding VAT. For those who purchase Elements and later decide that they need more advanced features, an upgrade to the Standard version is available for the difference in cost.
