Universal Audio have built up quite the selection of guitar pedals since their UAFX line-up was launched in 2021, and thanks to a free update, the whole family has just gained a range of new features.
What’s New?
The new UAFX 2.0 software introduces the following:
- USB MIDI Connectivity: Use UAFX pedals in any MIDI rig with real-time control, editing and preset switching*.
- Expanded Presets and Footswitch Modes for UAFX Amp Emulators: Store four user presets, and switch between custom amp tones instantly.
- Improved UAFX App Connection: Enjoy rock-solid Bluetooth or hardwired USB-to-Mobile cable connections with the UAFX Control app.
*Requires a compatible USB MIDI host, controller or interface.

Availability
UAFX 2.0 is available now. Current UAFX dual-footswitch pedal owners can upgrade to UAFX 2.0 for free via the Universal Audio website. MIDI CC parameter control features are released under open beta.
