The plug-in offers an alternative streamlined view, known as 'Balance Easy'.
Zynaptiq have announced the upcoming release of Balance, a fresh equaliser plug-in designed to simplify global EQ curve shaping. Balance is a 16-channel adaptive balancing equaliser that can intelligently adjust the overall frequency response to match a target EQ curve.
Balance supports channel counts from mono to 16 for immersive workflows, as well as all common sampling rates from 44.1kHz to 192kHz (depending on available CPU resources). It includes controls for adjustable target response curves, global EQ amount control, wet gain control, 12dB/Octave low and high-cut filters and optional double precision processing.
The plug-in’s interface is fully scalable and comes with a Metal/Direct 3D accelerated analyser display, making it easy to navigate and use. It can also be used in a smaller compact view, dubbed ‘Balance Easy’. The plug-in features custom-engineered minimum phase filtering, a feature said to maximise sound quality whilst keeping CPU usage down and delivering low latency of just three samples.
