RME have announced that their new Babyface compact audio interface is now shipping in the States. This compact USB device endoows computers with 10 audio inputs and 12 outputs (22 channels in total), in a variety of different formats. Input-wise, there are two mic/line ins plus eight digital ins via ADAT. Going the other way, the Babyface has two line outputs plus a stereo headphone socket, and another ADAT port providing eight digital outputs.
