DPA’s range of miniature microphones have built up a solid reputation not only for their natural sound, but also their ability to stand up to demanding applications. Their latest offering, the 2061 Omnidirectional Miniature Microphone, is no exception, and promises to combine best-in-class speech intelligibility with a sweat-repellent and water-resistant construction.
The 2061 has been designed specifically for voice duties, and is said to offer a natural sound that responds well to EQ and is relatively neutral to placement — the company say that it’ll deliver great results from a range of positions including a performer’s chest, cheek or forehead. As well as its impressive audio performance, the mic also boasts a robust construction that makes it a great choice for theatre and live event applications.
Its design is not only sweat-repellent, but has also gained an IP57-certified water-resistance rating. The mic comes supplied with secure mounting clips for holding it into place, is available in a choice of four colours (black, white, beige and brown), and can terminate to mini-XLR, 3.5mm mini-jack or LEMO connectors.
