KIT Plugins release NOIZ One Vox

Vocal-processing plug-in joins NOIZ Hub series

KIT Plugins NOIZ One Vox vocal processing plug-in compressor de-esser delay reverb distortion doubling

Launched in 2024, KIT Plugins’ NOIZ Hub series was created with the aim of providing a range of professional-grade audio tools that are simple yet powerful, while remaining accessible to creators of all levels. The latest arrival to the collection is NOIZ One Vox, a processor that combines compression, de-essing, delay and reverb with some additional creative effects in an effort to provide users with an all-in-one vocal-processing solution.

Although it packs in plenty of processing power, the plug-in sports a stripped-back interface that will be immediately familiar to users of its NOIZ Hub siblings. Bright and Reduct sliders offer control over its enhancer and compressor sections, while the amount of de-essing, delay, reverb and additional effects can be controlled using a set of four parameters along the bottom of the GUI. In addition to its dynamic processes and time-based effects, the plug-in also boasts built-in doubling and distortion processors.

Key Features

  • Input/Output Trim: ±36 dB input and output gain staging control
  • Metering: Displays audio input and output with peak clip indication.
  • Bright Processor: An intelligent high-frequency enhancer that dynamically brightens vocals based on transient sensitivity.
  • Reduct: Controls the gain reduction amount via adaptive compression.
  • De-Esser: Controls the amount of de-essing at 7, 8 or 9 kHz.
  • Echo: Controls the mix amount of tempo-synced delay processing with Normal and Dark delay modes. Offers rhythmic subdivisions (1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32).
  • Reverb: Controls the mix amount of 5 distinct reverb types — Med Hall, NonLin, Plate, Echo Room and Gymnasium.
  • FX: Controls the mix amount of four tailored effects —DBL 2x, DBL 4x, Up/Down and Distort.
  • Light (Sun) / Dark (Moon) Modes: Switch between two background colours using icons above the Output meter.
