When Universal Audio announced the launch of their newest Apollo X interfaces, one of the standout features was the upcoming integration with Sonarworks’ popular room-correction software. The wait is now over, with users of the latest-generation Apollo X units able to install the Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on (AMC) and benefit from built-in SoundID Reference functionality.
Key Features
- Measure speaker setups up to 9.1.6: Effortlessly measure and create calibration profiles for stereo, surround and headphone setups.
- Apply correction profiles directly to Apollo X DSP in real time: No more file transfers — simply apply profiles directly to the Apollo X for fast, high-quality performance.
- Multiple target profiles to choose from: Whether you prefer a flat frequency response, the Dolby Music Curve or a custom room profile, the flexibility is at your fingertips.
- Customisable room tuning and translation checks: Personalise your space for the best possible audio experience.
“This integration makes using SoundID Reference much easier for professionals. With key benefits like never having to worry about turning off calibration before printing, and the integration sitting precisely on the monitoring outputs where it belongs, this seamless experience ensures a smooth and uninterrupted workflow between Apollo and SoundID Reference, empowering users to stay fully focused on their creative vision.ˮ - Helmuts Bems, Co-founder and CEO, Sonarworks
