Wayne Jones Audio have announced the availability of the SoundID Reference Upload App, an application which allows users to transfer Sonarworks SoundID Reference calibration profiles directly to the compatible Wayne Jones Audio monitoring systems.
With the release of the application, users of compatible Wayne Jones Audio monitoring systems are now able to transfer calibration files generated within Sonarworks SoundID Reference to their monitoring systems quickly and easily, where they will be stored and run by the on-board DSP. This will allow them to enjoy the benefits offered by SoundID Reference, such as improved frequency response and accurate time and phase alignment, without the need to have it running permanently on their computer.
Users of Dolby Atmos setups are also able to utilise the application, which supports the transfer of calibration files created by SoundID Reference Multichannel, with a variety of different channel formats up to 9.1.6 being supported.
We were impressed with the results of the company’s Sonarworks integration, and you can find out more by checking out our review of the Reds monitors from the March 2022 issue of SOS.
