M-Audio have announced the launch of the latest additions to their M-Track audio interface range. The M-Track Duo HD is a two-channel interface aimed at musicians, producers, podcasters, streamers and content creators, and promises to avoid the trade-off between ease of use and professional results. Both of its inputs are equipped with M-Audio’s Crystal mic preamps, which deliver 55dB of gain, and will also accept instrument and line-level sources. As for connectivity, all of the unit’s inputs are handled by a pair of front-panel XLR/TRS combo sockets, while two rear-panel quarter-inch TRS sockets provide a line-level output. a headphone output is provided on the front panel, and can monitor either the USB audio (in mono or stereo) or a direct signal from the interface’s inputs. Top-panel controls are provided for each channel’s gain control, and both the headphone and monitor output levels.
