The latest Instrument Pack for Modartt’s modelled piano instrument provides users with a much-requested expansion: Bösendorfer’s 280VC concert grand, a model praised for its clear and dynamic sound.
Authorised by the renowned maker themselves, Bösendorfer 280VC uses Modartt’s physical modelling to capture the instrument in all its glory, and promises to provide users with hours of playing and listening pleasure! Thanks to the company’s modelling technology, there’s plenty of control over the instrument’s sound, with users able to choose from a selection of virtual microphone models and positions, and adjust physical parameters such as the playing action and mallet bounce. Velocity curves can be customised to suit different playing styles, and there’s even a variable control that makes it possible to set the instument’s condition to Mint, Worn or anywhere in between.
Modartt have uploaded a selection of audio demos to their website for those who’d like to hear the instrument pack in action.
