Sonimus have unveiled version 1.1 updates for two of their most popular plug-ins, introducing new features and improved performance including full compatibility with Apple Silicon. These updates are available as free upgrades for existing users.
The A-Console plug-in, which we previously covered here, now includes a range of new tools. Users will find an extra features panel, parallel processing, and an output knob for more precise control. A distortion generator is also added for creative sound shaping, along with pre- and post-filters and new meter positions for better visual monitoring. A new oversampling mode improves audio fidelity, while various bug fixes make for better overall stability.
We covered the release of N-Console here, which now also receives significant updates. The main addition is a new linear phase oversampling mode that delivers high-phase accuracy for mixing and mastering. For live performances, the minimum phase mode offers low latency and low CPU consumption while maintaining good sound quality. Bug fixes complete the update, improving N-Console’s general performance and reliability.
Price & Availability
Both plug-ins are available for download at $49 each, or as free upgrades for current users.
