Zero-G releases Eastern Percussion Module

New instrument brings Middle Eastern percussion to Kontakt

With Eastern Percussion Module, sample developers Zero-G are aiming to give music producers all the sounds and customisation tools needed to create realistic Middle Eastern percussion rhythms and styles as well as completely unique percussion-based sounds.

This collection includes over 5000 high drum samples in a dynamic Kontakt GUI with full mixing control coupled with high-quality effects (including EQ, compressor, saturator, transient shaper and convolution reverb) and a huge selection of MIDI grooves covering Middle Eastern, Egyptian, North African, and Turkish Styles.

Featuring Bandirs, Riqs, Doholas, Darabukas, Djembe, Sagat and more, each individual percussion instrument can be manipulated in a multitude of ways to create totally unique percussion instruments and tracks.

The instrument also features Drag and drop MIDI-to-DAW functionality making fast working and doubling of parts a breeze.

It’s out now, costs $66.99£59.95 and requires a full version of Kontakt 5.7. An introductory discount is available until 21st November and you’ll also receive Zero-G’s Ethnic Flavours sample pack worth £18.50 for free.
