Universal Audio have announced a change to their range of Volt audio interfaces, which now come bundled with a range of software that provides users with an all-in-one recording and mixing package. Now named Volt USB Recording Studios, the packages include a suite of 12 UAD plug-ins than can be used alongside UA’s award-winning LUNA DAW, along with a range of instructional content.
There are a total of seven Volt models available, all of which can now be used alongside LUNA, providing users with an analogue studio-style sound and recording/mixing workflow. All of the models include a Vintage Mic Preamp mode that emulates the sound of the company’s classic valve preamp, and four of the models also boast a built-in 76 Compressor processor based on the famed 1176.
The bundles also include a collection of 12 ‘must-have’ UAD plug-ins, including Teletronix LA-2A compressors, Pultec EQs, Oxide Tape Machine, PolyMAX synth, and the recently-released Verve Analog Machines Essentials.
